Cofounder and CEO of Amber Agriculture, Lucas Frye, was awarded $12,500 through the Illinois Innovation Prize at the 2017 Cozad New Venture Competition on Wednesday, April 26th. This prize is given to an innovator on the University campus that works to make a different through their technology. With the prize money, Lucas hopes to put it towards bringing in new talent.
AmberAg won the Cozad Competition, in addition to being given the IllinoisVENTURES Innovation Investment Prize, in 2016.
